Safety isn't expensive, its priceless

Safety is as simple as ABC - Always Be Careful.

Either in road or in any other aspects of life, Be always careful towards your risks, because “Precaution is always better than cure”, and It is better to lose one minute in life... than to lose life in a minute.

If we look upon road crashes figures of India, then it would be shocking, there's one death reported every 4 minutes on the streets of India, and we have highest no. of deaths due to road accidents, mainly from young ages.

So, as a citizens of India, it is our core responsibility to safe self and other precious life by following traffic laws on road.

Here, I don’t to discuss causes of road accidents in deep, it is crystal clear that many of accidents happens due to our ignorance on road.

In my views, below are the few my suggestions for road safety:

    1. Cell phones or any other distracting activity should be completely ban while driving

Around 80% road crashes happens due to distraction while driving, even it can be more than from drunk drivers. because distracted driving is engaging in any non-driving activity that increase the risk of crashing like eating, drinking, using GPS, talking to passengers, talking on phone or texting on phone etc.

From the above, texting involves the highest degree of driver distraction, because it involves all three types of distraction visual, manual & cognitive.

texting

first of all, as a responsible driver, it should be our duty, to avoid cell phone while driving, but central government should also think to completely ban use of cell phone while driving.

2. Always follow traffic rules

Traffic rules are made for to follow, these are not a joke…seriously, if you are treating these rules like a joke, then “death” would be punch line for that.

So it is simple like a poem:

trafiic rules

3. Respect cyclists, pedestrian and kids on road:

Cyclist, pedestrian and kids are more vulnerable in road accident, so as motorist, it is our duty to ensure better safety for pedestrian specially for kids and senior citizens.

Stop your vehicle behind the pedestrian crossing and not over it. be more careful and slow down near schools.

kids4. Never drink and drive

It is not need to repeat again and again, that don’t drink and drive, because all of us know about it, but as a post safety driving it become very important to mention this message once again.

d

at the end,

Safety isn't just a slogan, it's a way of life.
